The Barnaultransmash company, the largest manufacturer of diesel engines in the range 50-1000hp, offers a range of new services The Barnaul transport machine-building plant was founded as a specialist enterprise in the production of tank diesel engines of type B34-11. The enterprise was established in November 1942 when the first patterns of B-2 diesel engines were manufactured. Between 1942-1945 the enterprise produced over 10,000 tank diesel engines. The enterprise has a production-technology cycle that includes stock, forging, metallurgical and mechanical assembly and experimental/industrial productions. Barnaultransmash JSC is the largest manufacturer of diesel engines with power ranges of 50 to 1,000hp and diesel generator sets in the power range of 16 to 315kw. Extensive modifications At present the enterprise produces more than 450 modifications of diesel engines and diesel generator sets that are widely used for railway transport, sea, river and vehicle transport. They are used also for products involved in highway engineering, petroleum and gas complexes, stationary and mobile energetic sets and in military vehicles and other applications.
Increased performance Barnaultransmash JSC regularly carries out modernisation of manufactured products to increase technical-economic performances. At present, UTD-23 405hp and UTD-32 650hp diesel engines are designed to update infantry combat vehicles BMP-1, BMP-2 and BMP-3. Barnaultransmash JSC delivers diesel engines, diesel generators and spare parts through state enterprises Rosvoorouzhenie and Promexport. © |
