The runways at Le Bourget are mapped in plan view by the Hughes HISAR radar in a Raytheon King Air 200 twin turboprop flying some 85km away. This Image was taken by day, but would have been equally detailed has it been taken at night or in bad weather. The smallest details visible are around 1.8m [6tt) in diameter, small enough to expose virtually all forms of military activity to the all-weather gaze of Hughes' flying spy.
